About
In today’s rapidly evolving research landscape, libraries that aren’t using the right data points to shape their collection strategies are at risk of falling behind. A holistic, data-driven approach is essential for librarians who want to curate collections that maximize impact, optimize budgets, and meet the dynamic needs of their users.

This informative session will explore how the right data points can empower librarians to build impactful, relevant collections that will keep their institutions in pole position today and tomorrow. Our librarian guest speaker will cover quantitative and qualitative data to take into consideration when building your collections and how a data-driven approached has helped drive success at their institution.

Our expert in-house speakers will also explore the power of data, outlining how Elsevier leverages comprehensive metrics across usage, research trends, citation impact, and unmet demand, to shape its industry-leading publishing strategy. They will share how the same rich data ecosystem can support librarians in developing an effective, impactful collection.

This webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with questions submitted from the audience.
