Lance Erickson

Lance Erickson is a software developer/operator and manager of the same. He has been hands-on with systems in a variety of contexts, from closet server racks with questionable cable-management to tidy IaC cloud paradises with smooth CD release cycles. His roles have been equally varied, from maintenance dev to systems design. These days he serves the team at TelemetryHub, building a platform to help developers harvest the insights from their applications via the OpenTelemetry project.

Previously, Andreas held executive roles in engineering and product management for companies such as Mendix, digital.ai and XebiaLabs. He has a bachelor’s degree in kinematics and product design and uses his training as a lean black belt to drive organizational improvement.

Paige Cruz is a Senior Developer Advocate at Chronosphere passionate about cultivating sustainable oncall practices and bringing folks their aha moment with observability. She started as a software engineer at New Relic before switching to Site Reliability Engineering holding the pager for InVision, Lightstep, and Weedmaps. Off-the-clock you can find her spinning yarn, swooning over alpacas, or watching trash TV on Bravo.

Boris Zaikin

Software & Cloud Architect, Nordcloud GmbH

Boris is a Certified Software and Cloud Architect who has solid experience designing and developing complex solutions based on the Azure, Google, and AWS clouds. He has expertise in building distributed systems and frameworks based on Kubernetes and Azure Service Fabric. His areas of interest include enterprise cloud solutions, edge computing, high load applications, multitenant distributed systems, and IoT solutions.

Joana Carvalho

Performance Engineer, Postman

Joana has been a performance engineer for the last 11 years. She analyzed root causes from user interaction to bare metal, performance tuning, and new technology evaluation. Her goal is to create solutions to empower the development teams to own performance investigation, visualization, and reporting so that they can, in a self-sufficient manner, own the quality of their services. At Postman, she mainly implements performance profiling, evaluation, analysis, and tuning.

DevOps Architect at Smartwyre

Alireza is a software engineer with more than 22 years of experience in software development. He started his career as a software developer, and in recent years, he transitioned into DevOps practices. Currently, he is helping companies and organizations move away from traditional development workflows and embrace a DevOps culture. Additionally, Alireza is coaching organizations as Azure Specialists in their migration journey to the public cloud.
