Dr. Martinez received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo and completed his residency requirements at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He trained in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at Nassau County Medical Center State University of New York Stoneybrook. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Board Certified in allergy, asthma & immunology, he has served as a chairman for multiple scientific committees including the scientific committee of the Pan-American Medical Association of Central Florida and the Pediatric Committee of the ACAAI.

Through his interests in education and teaching, he serves as a clinical assistant professor for Florida State University College of Medicine, the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and clinical assistant professor for the Department of Internal Medicine at Nova Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine

In 1998, he was presented with the Outstanding Scholarly Accomplishment award in Allergy and Immunology by the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He has also been selected as “Top Doctors” by Orlando City’s Magazine for the past three years.
