Executive Director of My Green Lab
Allison Paradise is the Executive Director of My Green Lab, a California-based non-profit dedicated to promoting sustainability in laboratories. My Green Lab works with organizations across the United States to reduce the environmental impact of their labs through outreach programs and concrete initiatives. Paradise holds degrees in neuroscience from Brown and Harvard, and before founding My Green Lab, she worked as a scientific consultant. She is also a recipient of the Go Beyond Award from the International Institute for Sustainable Labs (I2SL) for her work in bringing Energy Star ratings to lab equipment.

Program Coordinator for the Duke Carbon Offsets Initiative
Tani Colbert-Sangree is the Program Coordinator for the Duke Carbon Offsets Initiative (DCOI) at Duke University. At the DCOI Tani facilitates academic learning opportunities through the development of carbon offset projects to help the university become carbon neutral by 2024. The DCOI's projects build scalable solutions to climate change while generating high levels of co-benefits for those in proximity to the projects. Beyond Duke’s carbon neutrality commitment, the DCOI pioneers solutions to improve how carbon offset project impact the world and develops innovative ways to increase academic engagement through the process of offset credit generation.
