Hon. Andrew Peck (Ret.)

Senior Counsel, DLA Piper

Andrew J. Peck is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities in e-discovery. During his 23-year tenure as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York, he authored several landmark opinions that shaped modern e-discovery practices, including the first judicial approval of technology-assisted review (TAR) in Da Silva Moore v. Publicis Groupe. His subsequent rulings in Rio Tinto v. Vale and Hyles v. City of New York cemented TAR’s acceptance as standard practice. Now Senior Counsel at DLA Piper, Judge Peck advises clients on e-discovery strategy, serves as an expert witness, and frequently lectures on emerging trends in electronic discovery. Recognized by Chambers USA and Who’s Who Legal as a global thought leader, he remains one of the most influential voices advancing e-discovery and information governance worldwide.

David Cohen

CEO, ATJustice

David R. Cohen graduated from Harvard Law School in 1983. He is admitted to practice before courts in New York, Pennsylvania, the Third, Fifth and Federal Circuits, and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous other jurisdictions. After serving as a partner and e-discovery practice group leader at two AmLaw100 Law Firms, Mr. Cohen now serves as Chief Executive Officer at ATJustice, a Legal Technology company aimed at improving access to legal services for ordinary consumers. Mr. Cohen currently Chairs the Board of Project Trustees of EDRM.
