University Archivist
holds degrees in history from Northwestern University and has served as Assistant, Associate, and now University Archivist at that institution since 1980. As a matter of fact, his first archival employment was even earlier, during the 1970s, as a student assistant at Northwestern.

The Northwestern University Archives is a department of the Northwestern University Library. Its mission includes the acquisition and preservation of both University records and the personal papers of Northwestern faculty, alumni, and affiliates. University Archives supports scholarly research into its holdings and assists Northwestern staff in documenting events, policies, and procedures from the past. The department serves as the University’s historical memory.
