Understanding the New FDA Traceability Rule: What is it and How Should You Prepare?

About This Webinar

The FDA’s new traceability rule, known as FSMA 204, was published in November 2022, becomes effective January 2023, and must be fully implemented by 2026. This rule affects a wide range of food products such as leafy greens, seafood, cheeses, and others listed on the Food Traceability List (FTL), and has traceability requirements spanning the entire supply chain. The rule, which requires operators to provide traceability information in a specific format to the FDA within 24 hours of request to assist during an outbreak, recall, or other threat to public health, represents a fundamental change in regulatory food traceability requirements. Hear from a food traceability expert and a leading operator about how this new rule impacts foodservice operations, what’s different from previous rules, how to prepare, and how to navigate the operational shifts that this rule demands. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from the experts on what this ruling really means for your business.
