Building performance analysis is a continuous activity to support our effort drive better building performance and emission reduction. This session will introduce participants to RETScreen Expert as a robust tool to help make operational decisions related to energy management and sustainability in the Commercial Real Estate industry. Attendees will be exposed to key functionalities of this tool, including benchmarking, feasibility and performance analysis for individual buildings and large portfolios. Case studies will explore the application of RETScreen to variety of tasks from energy project identification, business case development to project verification as well as how it can be applied to make day-to-day operational/performance decisions. Various Virtual Energy Analyzer Archetypes, template and built-in sample will be used to demonstrate the extensive capabilities of the tool. Furthermore, the ability of RETScreen to access and connect to data from a variety of data sources using RETScreen Connect as well as its data reporting and visualization will also be demonstrated.
