Žiga Drev is a co-founder and COO of OriginTrail, blockchain company developing the first purpose-built decentralized protocol for supply chains. Žiga co-founded OriginTrail as a traceability start-up in 2013 after pursuing MBA. He was instrumental in introducing GS1 standards of EPCIS to business and technological dimensions of the service, which has improved the scalability of the service across the food industry. To introduce full supply chain transparency, he helped build the relationship with international stakeholders and is currently managing the implementation of pilot projects on a blockchain in South-East Asian markets.
