LinkedIn has over 467 million users, 133 million in the US, there are over 39 million recent grads. According to Joshua Waldman, author of Job Searching with Social Media for Dummies, there are over 60k in government administration, 23k in civil engineering, 25k in renewables and energy, 34k in biotechnology, 84k in construction, 86k in oil and energy, and 228k in staffing and recruiting positions. You can decide if you think LinkedIn is a good place to be during your job search.
