About This Webinar

In this webinar, **Jonathan Ruffier** explores the critical leadership shifts required to successfully grow and scale a small business. The hard truth? The very skills that help founders launch and build a successful company can become the biggest obstacles to continued growth.

As organizations evolve, leaders must learn to delegate effectively, build high-performing teams, adapt their management style, and shift from working *in* the business to leading *the* business. Jonathan will share practical insights and real-world strategies to help business owners navigate each stage of growth, avoid common pitfalls, and develop the leadership mindset needed to build a scalable, sustainable organization.

COO, Technology Advancement Group
Jon Ruffier is the Chief Operating Officer of Technology Advancement Group (TAG), a cleared defense contractor on the Air Force Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) program of record. A U.S. Army veteran who served nine years, Jon deployed in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve as an aide-de-camp in the 4th Infantry Division and in support of Operation Inherent Resolve as a company commander in the 5th Special Forces Group. Across his career he has led organizations through growth and hard change in very different environments: a services firm that scaled from 120 to over 700 people in under two years, a SaaS company that grew from 80 to 240 globally in a year, a special operations task force, and now a lean defense firm. Jon is passionate about how organizations actually grow, and how leadership has to evolve to match, teaching leaders to scale their organizations by pulling the levers within their control rather than the ones they don't. Outside of work, he volunteers as an interview coach with Candorful, helping transitioning service members prepare for civilian careers, and is the creator of Veteran Casual, an oral history of veteran transitions that helps service members find purpose beyond the uniform.
