As Chief Commercial Officer at Enchanted Rock, Schurr is responsible for corporate and product marketing, direct sales, and channel sales functions.

Schurr holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis and a Master’s in Business Administration from St. Mary’s College in California. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, and he is a co-inventor on seven patents related to distributed energy.

In November 2021, Entergy Corporation appointed industry executive Cory Ramsel as vice president, portfolio marketing, sales and customer insights as part of the integrated customer organization reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer David Ellis.

Mr. Ramsel leads the development and executing the company’s strategy for product sales, marketing and developing insights derived from the voice of the customer. He is also building customer identification and retention strategies for new and existing products in collaboration with other key leaders in the customer organization.

Prior to joining Entergy, Mr. Ramsel served in multiple leadership roles with NextEra Energy, Inc. during which time he held positions in project development, growth and innovation strategy, new customer programs, distributed solar, energy storage and emerging technology projects, geospatial information systems, data analytics, training, and talent development.
