    Kandice Hawes-Lopez serves as the Community Outreach and Events Manager at Glass House Group, which owns and operates the Pottery LA, Farmacy Santa Ana, Santa Barbara, and Berkeley. Kandice manages the community outreach program at all Glass House Group retail locations and organizes senior shuttles, educational lectures, events, webinars, and community outreach projects.

    In 2003 Kandice founded the Orange County chapter of NORML, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. In her 18 years as the Executive Director, she held hundreds of meetings, organized dozens of events, and has moderated and spoken on conference panels across the country.

    Kandice was named High Times Freedom Fighter of the month in November 2012, named "One of Orange County's Most Influential People" by the Orange County Register in 2014, and included in the "100 Most Interesting People in Orange County" in 2015 by the OC Weekly.

    Rotman’s experience spans more than 25 years working in the fashion, beauty and entertainment industries. With numerous awards, successful brand launches and reposition to her credit, Rotman has a thorough understanding of the unique sensitivities and requirements involved in creating and maintaining a brands integrity and how to best position it for longevity and growth.

    Now in her 6th year as a cannabis professional, Rotman has become an industry leader and pioneer. Together with her husband, Rotman owns and operates one of the state’s largest legal outdoor cultivation farms, Busy Bee’s Organics. A farm that has been described as the gold standard by CDFA compliance officers, local politicians and fellow farmers alike. Rotman has brought her entrepreneurial leadership and skill to the industry beyond just farming by becoming a local and statewide advocate for the cannabis industry. Rotman serves on the Lompoc Valley Cannabis Association board and is a founding member of the campaign, ‘Good Farmers. Great Neighbors,’ an education focused on Cannabis advocacy and education for the industry and the launch of her brand, Wellfounded-born out of the most personal work she and her husband have been developing on the farm they call home.
