This presentation will review adequate experimental design, trends in the ag field research sector, data collection, how to evaluate that data, and how many years or locations are necessary to make the best financial, performance, and environmental decision about using a new product.

    Tim serves as the Technical Agronomy Manager in North America for Koch Agronomic Services. He earned a B.S. in Plant and Soil Science at Southern Illinois University and M.S. in Crop and Soil Science at Michigan State University. Prior to joining Koch, he served 3 years in the roles of Technical Agronomist and Agronomy Services Manager for GROWMARK in Bloomington, IL. Tim also has 12 years of experience as a senior operations leader for The Maschhoffs LLC, the largest family-owned pork producer in North America. He is a Certified Professional Agronomist and Certified Crop Advisor, with specializations in 4R Nutrient Management and Sustainability. Tim has farmed for the past 20 years and lives in rural Altamont IL with his wife Jane and two children, Lily and August.
