This is a huge year for PSHE education! Statutory RSHE gives schools more power than ever to ensure the curriculum supports safe, healthy children and young people. And we’re here to help with our autumn online conference covering the latest advice, resources and guidance.

Our keynote speakers will bring you the latest PSHE education news and best practice. They include:

Roary Pownall HMI, will discuss the latest Ofsted expectations regarding PSHE education, including RSHE, and implications of its review into sexual harassment in schools.

Dr Jenny Lloyd from Durham University, who works within the Contextual Safeguarding team, will discuss barriers and enablers to addressing harmful sexual behaviour in schools.

Dr Lizzie Wortley from the Association for Young People's Health will share the latest data on young people's health and insights on how to use health data for curriculum planning.

Our Deputy CEO Jenny Barksfield will discuss our latest work, including new consent guidance, new website and our exciting plans to support you during the year ahead and beyond.

And our CEO Jono Baggaley will be considering the future of PSHE in this momentous year for the subject.

We’re running a wide range of workshops on diverse topics, including statutory Health Education, consent, sexual harassment, RSHE for pupils with SEND and support for those new to PSHE leadership. This event is available exclusively to PSHE Association members. Please double check you have a current membership or your place will not be secured. If you’re not already part of our community you can become a member now, and gain access to all of our resources and guidance, as well as support from our team of Subject Specialists. As a charity, membership fees go towards continuously building our support offer for teachers and schools.
