After two years of deliberation and negotiation, the French mobility orientation law (la loi d’orientation des mobilités or ‘LOM’) was definitively adopted on 24 December, 2019. This large text, whose primary objective is to improve travel throughout the country, is a victory for sustainable mobility in that it supports new forms of mobility as alternatives to single car ownership.
Addressing a number of sectors such as electrification, shared mobility, MaaS and autonomous vehicles, it is opening up unprecedented business opportunities for new mobility companies.
This Virtual Urban Mobility Workshop is for foreign companies who want to learn more about the mobility orientation law, how it is impacting the French mobility market and the commercial opportunities that have come with it.
