What is wind Energy? Wind energy is a source of renewable energy. It does not contaminate, it is inexhaustible and reduces the use of fossil fuels, which are the origin of greenhouse gasses that cause global warming. Wind energy is one of the fastest-growing energy sources in the world.
We are all aware of climate change and the importance of sustainable energy. The School of Engineering here in University College Cork will run a workshop in which we will build a wind measurement instrument and you can measure and compare wind speed measurements from wherever you are in the world
