The American Physiological Society (APS), Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR), and InsideScientific are pleased to announce a joint webinar series covering late-breaking research, novel discovery, fundamental principles, and research innovation in the field of women’s health and related disease models.

This program of interactive live events includes scientific lectures from leading researchers around the world, as well as technology and methods sessions focused on innovative laboratory techniques central to research and related models of disease in the field of women’s health.

    Rachel Buckley, PhD
    Associate Professor, Harvard Medical School and Mass General Research Institute
    Dr. Buckley is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is a recipient of an NIH K99/R00, an NIH DP2 New Innovator Award and an NIH R01. Her research interests lie in sex differences in risk for Alzheimer’s disease and seeking to optimize women’s brain health.

    Helen E. Collins, PhD
    Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Louisville
    Dr. Helen E. Collins joined the University of Louisville as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Environmental Medicine in the Center for Cardiometabolic Science. Dr. Collins' laboratory focuses on understanding the mechanisms contributing to female cardiovascular health and resilience in the setting of physiological and pathological stressors, such as during pregnancy, exercise, and in the setting of myocardial infarction.
