There are many myths about seniors and sex — the biggest myth is that seniors don’t have sex – really? And further, myths about the benefits of cannabis in one's sex life.

Many seniors still enjoy healthy sex lives and other levels of intimacy with their partners. Just how cannabis can affect someone’s sex life is wide and varied, from simply helping people feel more turned on to opening the mind to deeper intimacy and promoting mindfulness. Cannabis can also help ease some age-related symptoms that naturally surfaces as people grow older and their bodies change.

The Farmacy Cannabis Lecture Series welcomes Dr. Joan Irvine to give us practical advice and useful suggestions, on how cannabis can help add fun and, of course, more pleasure into seniors’ sex lives. She believes that everyone deserves to know the facts and learn how to give and receive more sensual pleasure – and how to make cannabis a natural addition.

Dr. Joan Irvine is a nationally televised author, speaker, cannabis advocate, and educator for 55+ community. She’s also a consultant to various brands to help them position their products for the senior market.
