Curator, Historian, Honorary Professor in the History of Art, University of Edinburgh
Dr Elizabeth Cumming (class of 1966) was the first curator of Edinburgh’s City Art Centre. She later taught design history at Edinburgh College of Art and has published books on the Arts and Crafts movement, Dovecot Studios and on artists from Phoebe Anna Traquair to the Colourists. In 2016 she co-curated an exhibition on Henry Taylor Wyse and in 2020 was appointed an Honorary Professor in the history of art at the University of Edinburgh.
