Did you know that all cannabis and cannabis products sold at licensed dispensaries must be tested and pass strict standards set by the state?

Before cannabis products can be sold to consumers, they must pass required compliance testing that is monitored by the state. Depending on the type of product a sample may be subject to tests to measure potency, cannabinoids, heavy metals, microbial pathogens, moisture content, and pesticides. If cannabis and products cannot pass the strict standards set by the state they cannot be sold on the market ensuring customers safe products that they can rely on.

Whereas, untested cannabis purchased on the black market has been known to have high levels of pesticides, fungus, and other contaminants that can be harmful to your health.

Our special guest speaker for this episode is Keven Brahmbhatt the CEO and Founder of Excelbis Labs. He’ll give our viewers an overview of the cannabis testing process, discuss dangerous pesticides found on the black market, explain why it’s important to buy licensed cannabis products, how to read Certificates of Analysis, and answer all your lab-related questions.
