Stravroula (Lou) Kulpa
LHMC, BCBA, M.Ed. and CAGS, NCSP, LEP, High School Psychologist at Portsmouth High School. Mrs. Kulpa began her role as a School Psychologist in January of 2005. She has worked at several school districts throughout the state of Massachusetts. She began her work as a school psychologist at Portsmouth High School in the fall of 2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bridgewater State University (formally Bridgewater State College) and her Master of Arts in Education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. After 11 years of working as a School Psychologist in grades preschool – 12, Mrs. Kulpa decided to return to school and further her education. She currently attends William James College in Newton, Massachusetts and is scheduled to graduate with her doctorate in School Psychology this coming May. Mrs. Kulpa also holds a license as a Mental Health Counselor, is also licensed as a Licensed Educational Psychologist, and is certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mrs. Kulpa loves working with students and families and has enjoyed her time supporting the students and families of Portsmouth, RI. She is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition to her work as a school psychologist, Mrs. Kulpa teaches Psychology classes at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA and has a small private practice where she conducts individual therapy for children, adolescents, and families.
