Over the last few weeks, we have been keeping our young musicians connected, creating, and learning through POP Virtual Summer. Our program has extended beyond Philadelphia to include students from partner organizations in Ohio, North Carolina, and even Texas, creating access to POP's music education in locations we couldn't have imagined before. Our students have explored different ways to express their artistic voice and have collaborated on musical, written, and visual art led by our amazing Teaching Artists. We also partnered with other incredible artists and organizations to provide a unique and inspirational experience for our students including Charlotte Blake Alston, Rafaela Dreisin, Fresh Artists, Carlos Simon, and Kerwin Young.

We invite you to experience the artistic works and hear the voices of each of our POP Virtual Summer students at our POP Summer Showcase: Lifting Our Voice. Join us to celebrate our students' work including the premiere of an original composition written together with Kerwin Young and performed by our students and Teaching Artists! This is a free event, but for security reasons, registration is required. We hope that you will join us and invite your friends and family to help us celebrate each and every students' voice!
