Dr. David Zabel is a board-certified plastic surgeon and retired Commander in the United States Navy Reserves. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western University, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati, and completed residencies in General Surgery at Christiana Care Health Systems in Newark, DE, and in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Zabel is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Christiana Care Health Systems, Medical Director of the St. Francis Wound Care Center, and an Associate Faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Delaware. He has authored 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and five book chapters on topics such as abdominal wall reconstruction and wound treatment, and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Tettelbach is a certified wound specialist physician actively board-certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Internal Medicine while retaining academic appointments at Duke University School of Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences. He currently serves as the Executive Medical Director of the newly established Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care Service line for the Mountain Division (Alaska, Idaho & Utah) of HCA Healthcare.

Podiatrist, Foot & Ankle Surgeon
Dr. Fusco is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University). He completed his residency at a joint program with The Cleveland Clinic and Mercy Regional Medical Center in Cleveland and Lorain Ohio. Since 2015, Dr. Fusco has been at Orthopaedic Associates in NW Florida as their foot and ankle surgeon. His practice focus is foot and ankle surgery, complex limb salvage, sports medicine, reconstruction, and joint replacement. He serves as the podiatrist and foot and ankle specialist for NW Florida State College and several local schools. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
