Principal Consultant, MDVS Clinical Pty Ltd
Michelle has an Honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Adelaide. Her keen interest in pharmacology led her to work in the biopharmaceutical industry for over 25 years leading the implementation of clinical trials across Australia & New Zealand, partnering with key medical researchers in many therapeutic areas including oncology and haematology. This gave her a great sense of purpose and satisfaction knowing that she was positively impacting patients in the community by developing new medicines in the hope that they would transform lives.

Michelle has worked alongside inspiring medical research investigators and study nurses at hospital and research institutions, always ensuring that patient safety and data integrity were a priority. She developed and implemented patient-centric strategies across clinical trials to enhance community & patient awareness, engagement and participation in clinical trials. Through this experience, she never lost sight of the patient, their contribution to medical research, their reasons for participating in a clinical trial, sometimes their only option.

A recent personal experience, coupled with Michelle’s professional background, has drawn her closer to supporting cancer patients through her own venture. It has now become her passion and mission to empower cancer patients to drive their treatment journeys and connect them with early access options beyond the medicines on the pharmacy shelf.
