The COVID-19 induced global recession has had a jarring impact on North American natural gas and will continue to impact supply, demand, storage and prices in the near and short term. At the same time, uncertainty in global crude oil demand and production will alter associated and non-associated gas supply heading into the back half of 2020 and calendar year 2021. Our outlook will also include analysis on the impact to LNG feed gas deliveries and the race to the bottom of the roller coaster playing out between supply and demand in the lower 48.
