Jeff is an R&D Director for Procter & Gamble Professional, the away-from-home division of The Procter & Gamble Co. His primary responsibility is leading the Applied Science Service Group that helps P&G Professional customers mitigate public health risk factors within their operations using science-based strategies. Jeff holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Seattle University and The University of Arizona, respectively. He began his career as a combat medic for the Marine Corps, specializing in emergency and preventative medicine and public health. Since then, he has worked in several other areas of public health including hospital infection control, environmental health/chemistry and sanitation. During his tenure at Procter & Gamble, Jeff has worked on the development and manufacturing of sanitation and cleaning products (such as Tide®, Dawn®, Cascade®, Mr. Clean®, Spic and Span®, among others) and managed production laboratories in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Jeff also provides food safety education and certification to foodservice managers throughout the U.S. He has authored and co-authored 16 technical papers in scientific publications related to topics in microbiology, infection control, chemistry, and materials science.

Janice Brady wants to live in a world where nobody dies from eating food, eye contact still exists, and every “thank you” note is scribbled by hand. Janice is Senior Director of Brand Protection, Quality & Regulatory Compliance for Denny's Corporation [NASDAQ: DENN]. Denny's is one of America's largest full-service family restaurants chains, operating over 1,700 company and franchised Denny's restaurants in the United States and abroad.

Janice has worked for Denny’s for over 36 years. Beginning her career as a server, Janice has served in multiple leadership positions in restaurant operations, human resources, and training. Joining the Brand Protection Department in 2009 she discovered a true passion for food safety and understanding the operational pitfalls and hurdles has enabled her to build programs that are realistic, all while following food safety laws.

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of Denny’s global policies, procedures, and food safety/HACCP program from farm to fork. Janice and her team are responsible for menu HACCP, product/vendor approvals, restaurant brand protection reviews and regulatory compliance for all Denny’s restaurants. Additional brand responsibilities include safety & loss control and crisis management response team (food safety, workplace violence & infectious disease).

An active member of the National Restaurant Association/QA Executive Study Group, South Carolina Retail Association (SCRLA) Board Member, Denny's Women's Leadership Team, NRFSP scheme committee, and the TAPS Advisory Board.

Janice has certifications in CP-FS, HACCP, FSCPA Preventive Controls for Human Food certified, and is an Instructor/Proctor for Manager Food Safety Certification.
