2020 was challenging on many levels for agencies, community supervision and treatment professionals. Officers bore the responsibility to ensure that every clients’ supervision and programming needs were addressed in a new and logistically complicated environment. Remote and mobile technology use skyrocketed throughout the year. During this session, attendees will learn how agency staff responded to the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, what worked and didn’t, as well as the new challenges agencies face in 2021. Modern community supervision professionals must have the right tools to successfully keep up with the changing world in which we work and live.

1. Participants will learn how agencies, officers and staff responded to rapidly changing demands to perform their jobs during the COVID-19 crisis
2. Participants will learn the about the different technology used by officers, case managers and clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic
3. Participants will learn what has and has not worked over the last 12 months related to remote and mobile technology supervision
4. Participants will learn which remote and mobile technologies will help them navigate and succeed in the rapidly changing world of community supervision
