    Mark was born in Miami, and quickly developed a passion for sailing. At 18, he delivered a 48’ Grand Banks from Miami to Alaska and subsequently earned his Captain’s license. At 24, he met Bernie Little and went on to Captain and manage the most successful fleet of charter yachts afloat for 18 years. As General Manager of Florida Yacht Basin he developed the shipyard into the largest megayacht paint and repair facility on the East Coast. Next, Mark took over the Allied Marine Shipyard, a Hatteras, Azimut and Benetti dealership with over $30 million in inventory and 110 employees. With over 20 years of running and managing yachts, He started the charter department as well as Yacht Management Division at IYC and has grown leaps and bounds since then!

    Jeff started his yacht brokerage career soon after graduating from Florida Institute of Technology in 1979. He grew up on the Connecticut shore of Long Island Sound where boating was always a part of his life. He and partner Joe Majcherek started Gilman Yachts of Ft. Lauderdale in 1999 as a branch of the long established Gilman Yacht Sales. Serving as President of Gilman Jeff remains active in brokerage averaging about 30 closings per year. This places him in front of a large number of buyers and sellers and affords him a very nice following of loyal clients and referrals.

    Growing up in the family business, Mike has always been passionate about boating. For the last seven years he has continued his passion assisting his clients in the purchase or sale of new and pre-owned vessels. His focus is on the Viking, Princess, and Maritimo brands. Mike holds a current brokerage license. He has completed Viking Masters factory authorized sales training and is the second graduate to complete the comprehensive sales course through the Yacht Brokerage Institute.

    Jud Black
    Bluewater Yacht Sales
    Jud Black is a partner in Bluewater and has spent nearly every working hour in the boat business since age 15. While attending Virginia Tech as an engineering major, he married his high school sweetheart, Ann, and took a four year sojourn with IBM before finding his way back into boats as a District Sales Manager with Johnson Outboards, later becoming the DSM for their largest territory in South Florida. He subsequently joined Boston Whaler as Southeast Regional Manager, living in South Carolina, where he and Ann started their family with daughter Melissa. He joined Bluewater in 1988 to run their small boat division selling Whaler, Seacraft, Zodiac and Evinrude outboards. This division was later consolidated into Bluewater Yacht Sales, where he joined the ownership and management team. Jud is currently on the Board of the Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament.  He has been honored as one of the countries top sales people by Johnson Outboards, Regulator Marine, Hatteras Yachts and Viking Yachts over the years.

    Nick Buckman

    Nick Buckman is a 100T USCG Certified Master Captain with more than 12 years of experience in the marine industry. Having represented both boat manufacturers and brokers, his experience touches all facets of new and used boat sales and ownership. Most recently, he served as the Customer Experience Manager for Hinckley Yachts. Prior to that, he held roles with MacGregor Yachts, Albury Brothers Boats and Viking Yacht Company. With Seakepeer, Nick has managed relationships with boat builders throughout the state of Florida, and currently focuses on the East Coast.
