Anastasia is a consultant with a total of 10 years of experience in the sustainability field. At PricewaterhouseCoopers Sustainability LLC, she is in charge of climate change and sustainable finance projects, and supports banks, asset management companies, and insurers in managing climate risks, developing ESG investment strategies, and measuring their social and environmental impact.

Prior to joining the consulting sector, Anastasia worked on sustainability projects with the United Nations and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. She also supported the green bonds study of the National Institute for Environmental Studies.

Anastasia holds a PhD degree in Environmental Studies from Sophia University in Tokyo.

Yo joined AXA IM in November 2018 as Head of ESG Research and Active Ownership. oversees delivery of in-depth global sustainability thematic research. Yo also is responsible for the engagement programme with investee companies.

Prior to this, he spent seven years working as Director, Governance and Sustainable Investment at BMO Global Asset Management where he led the ESG engagement overlay service and established the listed impact investment practice. He also has previous experiences as a business journalist for the BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg News and Asahi Shimbun.

Yo holds a MBA (distinction) from Cass Business School and a MA / BA (hons) undergraduate degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.

Professor and Director General of International Institute of Green Finance, CUFE
Professor Yao Wang is the Director General of International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF). She also serves as Deputy Secretary General of Green Finance Committee (GFC) of the China Society for Finance and Banking, as Secretary General of the Green Securities Committee (GSC) of the Securites Association of China, as fellow at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), as advisor to the Sustainable Finance Programme at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford and as consultant for the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. She was awarded by Asiamoney China Green Finance Awards 2019 “the Outstanding Contribution to Development of Green Finance in China”.

Prof. Wang worked in investment banks for 7 years, before she became a faculty of Central University of Finance and Economics(CUFE) in 2006. She did her post-doctorate at Bank of Beijing from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011 she was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University. Professor Wang is interested in Green Economy, Sustainable Finance, Climate Finance and Green Finance. She is the author of several publications on climate finance and green finance, such as Carbon Finance: Global Vision and Distribution in China (China Economic Publishing House, 2010), and Climate Finance (China Economic Publishing House, 2013). Her co-authored book "Research on the Carbon Finance Mechanism Supporting the Development of China's Low Carbon Economy" won nomination award for the Seventh China National Outstanding Publication.

His main responsibility is to lead engagement with members of the board and management of Aberdeen Standard Investments’s investee companies in Asia. He also spearheads our public advocacy on ESG issues, representing the company at the Asian Corporate Governance Association and leading international organisations dedicated to improving corporate best practice.

David is a CFA charterholder and gained a PhD in Corporate Governance and an MA in Corporate Strategy and Governance from the University of Nottingham in the UK.

Head of Sustainable Funding, EIB
A Bocconi University graduate, Aldo shaped EIB’s first Climate Awareness Bond, the world’s first green bond, in 2007. He has developed this funding program since, extending it to further areas of environmental and social sustainability via “Sustainability Awareness Bonds” in 2018, in compliance with ICMA’s Sustainability Bond Guidelines. Today, EIB is the largest multilateral issuer of this type of bonds. In 2017- 19, Aldo co-authored with Prof. Wang Yao of China Green Finance Committee two White Papers on the Need for a Common Language in Green Finance and participated in the EC’s technical working groups on sustainable finance. In 2018, EIB, the EU Bank, was the first issuer to tune CAB/SAB documentation to the EU Taxonomy Regulation.
