DESIGN REVIEW WITH LIMITED RESOURCES: WORKING WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL PRESERVATION STAFF

About This Webinar

There are thousands of design review commissions throughout the country. Although they are all working toward the same goal—preservation of historic resources—they vary greatly in how they reach that goal, whether it is through how they conduct design review or through the scope of additional services they provide. The commissions also vary greatly on the type and number of resources they have available to them. Among the varying resources is the amount and type of staff support provided by the local governing body. Some have no staff. Others have some staff assistance but it may not be professional preservation assistance. Join NAPC CAMP trainers Robin Zeigler and Chris Wand as they lead a discussion with Mindy Crawford, Sarah Korjeff, Tim Leahy, and Laura Renwick, to explore different options for providing guidance to applicants and commissioners, when professional preservation resources are not available.
