Jennifer oversees the entire healthcare division, which manages federal and state grant programs focused on improving healthcare delivery. The division also runs the New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN) on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Health and includes Healthcare Innovation Solutions (HCIS) — the Healthcare Division’s for-profit subsidiary — which helps thousands of physicians across the country navigate the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Merit-Based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS). Jennifer has more than two decades of experience in the healthcare field, and most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ, where she led cybersecurity, HIPAA security and privacy, Information Services, Clinical Informatics and Telecommunications.

Sean J. Hopkins is the Senior Vice President of the Center for Health Analytics, Research & Transformation (CHART) at the New Jersey Hospital Association, a hospital and post-acute provider member organization located in Princeton New Jersey. As the Senior Vice President of CHART Mr. Hopkins is responsible for overseeing all analytical modeling, both financial and statistical, on behalf of the Association and its members and leads the Association’s CHART team in its pursuit of facilitating the Associations mission “to improve the health of the people of New Jersey”. Through data analytics and predictive modeling, CHART explores various methods to improve population health and the delivery of care to New Jersey’s residents with a focus on the most costly and vulnerable populations. Strategic investments in wellness and prevention programs as well as other social determinants of health, can have the effect of bending the cost curve through cost avoidance as a byproduct of improved health status. Mr. Hopkins has almost 40 years of experience in the healthcare field, and has successfully engineered and overseen several demonstration projects approved by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).

Prior to joining the New Jersey Hospital Association Mr. Hopkins spent ten years with KA Consulting, Inc., a healthcare consulting company located in Edison, New Jersey. As a Senior Manager of Consulting Services Mr. Hopkins consulted regionally with hospitals on a wide range of financial and strategic issues.

Mr. Hopkins served as an ex-officio board member for the New Jersey Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and previously served as a member of the National HFMA’s Advisory Council.

Overall Mr. Hopkins has almost 40 years of healthcare experience. Mr. Hopkins graduated from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, Pa. in 1981 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Gregory is the Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs/Chief Medical Officer at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. He is an emergency physician, medical educator, medical administrator, and attorney. He is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. Dr. Rokosz is an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine and Assistant Clinical Dean at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of the New York Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Educational Consortium. He previously served as Associate Dean at Mount Sinai School of Medicine for the Barnabas Health system and now holds that position at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and a Professor of Emergency Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine. In addition to previously serving as the Director of Medical Education at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Dr. Rokosz remains the Vice President for Medical Education and Clinical Research for the Barnabas Health Legacy hospitals. He currently chairs the Institutional Review Board at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Rokosz served as President of the Medical Staff, Vice President for Medical Affairs, and Director of Medical Education at Union Hospital prior to joining Saint Barnabas. Dr. Rokosz received a bachelor’s degree with honors from Rutgers University. He earned his medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. Dr. Rokosz received his juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, with a concentration in health law from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review and also recipient of the Advanced Legal Writing Award. Dr. Rokosz was a member of the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners for more than 11 years and one of its presidents. Dr. Rokosz was nominated by the Federation of State Medical Boards and served on the Accreditation Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), a committee he also chaired. He currently chairs the Physician Executive Constituency Group at the New Jersey Hospital Association and is a member of the Impairment Review Committee of the State’s Alternative Resolution Program. Dr. Rokosz was recently appointed by the Governor to serve on the New Jersey Advisory Council for End of Life Care. He has been the recipient of numerous recognition awards over the span of his career.
