Phil started his work career in 1982 at the Royal Netherlands Airforce as
aviation meteorologist and Head of the Meteorology Department on airfield
Gilze Rijen.
After 8 years of military service Phil moved to MeteoGroup. and during a
career of 26 years he fulfilled many different roles in Operations. He
graduated with a bachelor in Applied Natural Sciences , a post bachelor in
Clinical Psychology and as certified Scrum Product Owner he was responsible
for Product Development and quality control in the Aviation Department
from 2014 until 2017.
Phil worked for 2 1/2 years at Weathernews and is currently in charge of the
Quality Control, Service Value Creation Section in the Aviation Weather
Department.

Steven started his work career in medical nutritional services, dealing with hospital patients in various medical specialty departments which include ICU and Emergency for 5 years. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia in 1992, with course work including Geophysics & Astronomy and Oceanography, Steven also undertook training in Flight Dispatch as well as severe weather forecasting from the National Weather Service. He has worked for more than 10 years at Weathernews and is currently in charge of the Service Value Creation Section in the Aviation Weather Department.

Jeff Torgerson is currently employed by Weathernews in the American operations center for SKY-Planning, in Norman Oklahoma, USA. As the Aviation Operations Manager, Jeff is tasked with aviation and recurrent training of the meteorological staff, as well as with upholding the high regulatory standards of Weathernews, in the global commercial aviation industry.
