Computer Science Teacher at Elida High School
Mark Suter teaches high school computer tech courses on game design and programming. He's really just been winging it for 11 years, mainly focusing on helping students define what matters to them, then helping them get there. To do this, he's a student first, teacher second. His students are developing VR apps in Unity for the HTC Vive that train adolescents in everyday tasks like "Jumping a car battery" and "wiring an outlet". He also runs a business in the classroom, Grit9Design.com, along with the students, creating websites for area businesses.
