Assessments Liaison, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
Laura has been working in various areas of the Civil Service since 2012, gaining experience in Law enforcement, policy making, parliamentary oversight, Liaison and much more. Laura has been with NSCS-Assessments since September 2018, this post is the link point for a team of over 50 cyber subject matter experts and UKIC, Defence, x-Whitehall, 5EYES, Industry cyber readers and more. Laura ensures that the papers and products that NCSC-Assessment product end up with the correct audiences who can take real world actions.
Before this role, Laura was part of the GCHQ Parliamentary team who lead on all things from Parliament, such as PMQs, MP and Minister briefings and visits, and most importantly dealing with the Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament ( ISC ) assisting them in their oversight of GCHQ.
Prior to joining GCHQ Laura worked in National Crime Agency ( NCA ) and its precursor Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) in the Authorisations team, the Child Exploitation Online Protection (CEOP) team and in private office for Deputy Director NTAC (National Tasking and Coordination).
