Abby Schultz is a senior writer for Penta, a Barron’s Group publication for wealthy individuals and families covering wealth management and philanthropy, as well as trends in collecting and owning art and wine, among other luxury goods. She joined Barron’s in October 2014 as the Penta Wealth Management Editor for Barron’s Asia in Hong Kong.

Abby covered the credit markets and money management industry for Dow Jones newswires in New York before freelancing and consulting for several years mostly on personal finance and other business and financial topics. Before rejoining Dow Jones, she was an editor in Hong Kong at IFR Asia, a Thomson Reuters publication focused on the capital markets.

Jackie VanderBrug is a Managing Director and Head of Sustainable & Impact Investment Strategy for the Chief Investment Office (CIO) within Bank of America Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for driving sustainability through the investment process including thought leadership, strategy development, client experience and portfolio construction for individuals, institutions and foundations. She believes that all investors should understand their power to have impact through their investments.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Jackie was Managing Director at Criterion Ventures, where she worked with high-net-worth individuals and non-profits on impact strategies and led the development of the field of Gender Lens Investing; she also led
Business Development for the technology firm iBasis; and, co-founded WORK IN PROGRESS, a non-profit social enterprise focused on career development for underprivileged youth. She started her career as a domestic policy analyst for the U.S. Congress and as a strategy consultant for Fortune 500 firms at CSC Index.

Jackie received her M.B.A from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and her B.S. in Mathematics from Calvin College. Jackie is an Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow and serves on the Board of the Trustees of the Donations. Jackie has co-authored a book and published many articles within the sustainable and impact investment arena.
