Digital accessibility and staying safe online for young people

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
As a blind person, digital accessibility and safeguarding is about keeping your ear to the ground, keeping up-to-date with what children are accessing, and talking to others for support.

In this free-to-attend session, Amrit Dhaliwal, a speaker volunteer from Leonard Cheshire, will share strategies based on personal experience of digital accessibility and staying safe online and using real-life examples to illustrate the dangers. Attendees will learn about the importance of developing trust in online communities and the need for security.

You'll come away with top tips and strategies for ensuring children and young people understand the importance of staying safe online.
