Starting a Business
CSE is grooming next-generation business owners. If you are a high school or college student, an educator, parent or family member of a CSE client, with an income-generating talent or idea, you don't want to miss this Start-Up Entrepreneurship series. We'll be joined by 15-year-old ice cream entrepreneur, Beau Shell, The Lil Ice Cream Dude, to learn about his journey to success in Part 1 of this transformational series.
Part 2 - Dr. Rhonda Andeson, CSE Director of Curriculum and Program Planning will join the Lil Ice Cream Dude in teaching attendees the "ABC's and 123's of Starting a Business". What does the Secretary of State have to do with starting a legitimate business?
What is a tax ID number and why do you need one?
What is a business plan?
Why do I need to know about my competition?
Webinar attendees will be given a business plan template, to develop their own business plan for CSE's upcoming virtual "pitch competition"
Part 3 - The Lil Ice Cream Dude and the CSE team of business coaches will work with webinar attendees in a virtual group chat environment to hear their business plans and help them develop their business pitches for the upcoming "pitch competition.
