In celebration of Mother’s Day, we are proud to present a panel of the most influential and successful mothers in the cannabis industry.

Our speakers include Amanda Jones, co-founder of Kikoko, a cannabis wellness company known for their organic, plant-based products like their botanical mints, tinctures, herbal teas, and manuka/kanuka honey. Carrie Mapes and Patty Pappas, the founders of Hello Again, a cannabis-based vaginal suppository, formulated for menopause but helping women of all ages. And, Jessica Gonzalez, a Mindful Living and Empowerment Coach, that leads an online social community of women and mothers at @theMommyJane.

Our amazing moms will talk about how they juggle the cannabis industry and motherhood at all stages, how cannabis helps them be a better parent, how they deal with other parents, and how cannabis inspires, influences, and enhances motherhood.

    Carrie Mapes and Patty Papas
    Founders of Hello Again
Carrie Mapes and Patty Pappas go way back – twenty years ago the duo met when their oldest children started preschool. Friends ever since, Carrie and Patty have always been adventurous and open-minded – but it wasn’t until they became empty nesters that they decided to explore local dispensaries.

Quickly, they realized that cannabis was uniquely suited to address many of the challenges they experienced during menopause. Patty and Carrie searched for a single product geared to address these challenges, but there was nothing in sight. Naturally, their problem-solving instincts lead them to take matters into their own hands – by building their own product from the ground up.

Cannabis. Vaginal. Suppository. Some might read those words and think “crazy talk”, but for Carrie Mapes and Patty Pappas these same words represent the future of women’s wellness. With age came the freedom to think and act without considering the judgment of others. The empowerment of age has provided Carrie and Patty with the confidence and wisdom to build something meaningful. The skills and lessons they have learned as mothers, wives, and leaders in their communities are now applied to the world of cannabis and business.

Carrie’s creativity combined with Patty’s attention to detail make them the perfect pair to spearhead a movement to educate women about menopause and the non-psychoactive use of cannabis for wellness at any age. Carrie and Patty founded Hello Again in 2019, after extensive research and development. The duo is committed to offering solutions for women to improve both mental and physical health and feel like themselves again.

Their grandmother’s tolerated, their mothers medicated, and they CREATED. Hello Again! Jessica Gonzalez
    The Mommy Jane
Jessica Gonzalez is a mother on a mission. After cannabis significantly improved her life after years of prescription drug and alcohol abuse, Jessica created a cannabis-infused “Neighborhood” via her Instagram page @themommyjane where she shares her life as a mom and entrepreneur in the cannabis industry.

Jessica truly believes cannabis saved her life, and loves inspiring her "Neighbors” to become advocates of their own health and wellness, often sharing ways to consume more mindfully and live more consciously; focusing on the fact that cannabis education, like everything else, starts at home.

In 2019 she became certified as a mindset coach to take her advocacy a step further and help empower others to change their lives by changing their mindset, emphasizing that cannabis is medicine, but it isn’t a cure-all.

Through education and awareness, Jessica is hoping to use her platform to break the stigma of how CannaMoms are perceived in society, all while changing the mindset of an infantile industry to be more aware of their thoughts, feelings and beliefs, so they don’t lose the intention of the mission: to normalize, de-stigmatize and decriminalize plant medicine.
