    Peter Di Teresa leads the manager selection team for Morningstar Research Services. The team acts in a fiduciary capacity in constructing retirement plan lineups and plan menus for recordkeeper and plan provider clients. The team also creates and oversees mutual fund and ETF select lists, including ones focused on sustainable investing, for a variety of other clients. Prior to joining Morningstar Investment Management in 2002, Di Teresa was associate editor of Morningstar FundInvestor, a publication for individual investors, and wrote Morningstar.com’s popular “Ask the Professor” column. He coauthored the first edition of the Morningstar Guide to Mutual Funds, Morningstar’s first fund-investing book. Di Teresa started at Morningstar, Inc. in 1995 as a mutual fund analyst specializing in U.S. equity funds. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
