Live Q&A With Current Penn State Students

About This Webinar

Ask current Penn State students questions about academics, campus life, dorm living, and more.

Pennsylvania State University has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are worried about choosing a college without being able to visit in person and get a feel for campus life. In this Q&A session, we'll ask our panel of current Penn State students a series of questions about everything ranging from campus life to athletics to the classroom experience. Webinar attendees will also get to participate in the second half of the Q&A.

Q&A Participants:

Alycia Fournier is a sophomore Risk Management: Real Estate focus major in the Smeal College of Business with an intended minor in Technical Writing. Alycia is a member of Women in Business, Penn State American Marketing Association, and on the executive board of her sorority as the Membership Recruitment Chair. She volunteers on campus through LifeLink, working with special needs students to assist them in their schoolwork and help them feel comfortable through their college transition. She used her Penn State resources and network to attain a Marketing internship in Connecticut for Summer 2020. Alycia has worked with her helpful advisor and has easily changed her major two times to find the major that best suits her future goals. She cannot speak highly enough about her time at Penn State!

Clifford Stueck is a sophomore from New Jersey majoring in Aerospace Engineering with intended minors in Engineering Mechanics and IST. Clifford is a mentor in the Engineering Orientation Network, a member of Engineering Ambassadors, and the Chassis Lead for the Penn State Formula Race Team. He was supposed to intern with Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford Connecticut this summer, but unfortunately his offer was rescinded in light of Covid-19. Clifford enjoys everything Penn State has to offer including the sport programs, opportunities available, and most importantly the people there. Clifford is looking forward to getting back on campus in the fall! #WeAre

Sarah Purrington is a sophomore from Richmond, Virginia and is a Health Policy and Administration Major at Penn State. She is considering minoring in Information Sciences and Technologies, but has not decided yet. Sarah is the Treasurer and member of the Club Field Hockey team, an active member of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, and newly recruited as a PSU HealthWorks Peer Advisor. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, being a server at Primanti Brothers on College Ave, and hanging out with her friends.

John (JJ) Stueck is a freshman from New Jersey in the Smeal College of Business with an intended major in Finance. JJ is a member of the Sports Business Club and will be assistant athletic director for the club starting next fall. JJ intends to play for the club baseball team next year and is looking forward to getting back on campus. JJ loves everything about Penn State’s atmosphere, the people, and the opportunities offered and cannot wait to be back in the fall! #WeAre!
