Live Q&A With Current Cornell Students

About This Webinar

Ask current Cornell students questions about academics, campus life, dorm living, and more.

Cornell University has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are worried about choosing a college without being able to visit in person and get a feel for campus life. In this Q&A session, we'll ask our panel of current Cornell students a series of questions about everything ranging from campus life to athletics to the classroom experience. Webinar attendees will also get to participate in the second half of the Q&A.

Q&A Participants:

Bryan Weintraub is a junior from Rye Brook, New York in the School of Hotel Administration. He studies Hotel Administration with minors in Public Policy and Real Estate. Bryan represents the Hotel School on the Student Assembly, chairs the Dining Services committee, serves as the VP of Public Relations for his business fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon, and sits on the Orientation Steering Committee. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

Micaela Moravek is a rising senior studying Human Biology, Health, and Society with a minor in Health Care Policy in the College of Human Ecology. She is also on the pre-med track but is planning on taking a gap year before going to medical school. On campus, she is in Cornell Rock Climbing Club and climbs for the competitive team. She also is a rock climbing instructor for the Cornell Outdoor Education PE classes. She is on the steering committee for the Human Ecology Ambassadors and is also a member of the Kao-Kniffin lab in the School of Integrative Plant Sciences.

Yvonne Schictel is a rising senior majoring in Fashion Design in the College of Human Ecology. She has just completed a semester abroad at Parsons Paris. On campus she is a part of Thread Magazine, the Cornell Fashion Industry Network (CFIN), Cornell University Fashion Forward (CCUFF), and the Cornell Fashion Collective (CFC). She is also a research assistant for the Cornell Fashion and Textile Collection.

Jackson Baglino is a junior from Park City, Utah. He transferred from the University of Utah to Cornell to study mechanical and aerospace engineering after his sophomore year. He is on both the Cornell ski club and Cornell cycling club, where he represents Cornell at races against other schools in the region. Some of his other hobbies include golfing, reading, and listening to music.
