Vasi Nadarajah
Director of Legal Operations at Accenture
I am the Director of Legal Operations for Accenture, since Sept 2018, overseeing a globally dispersed team of 45+ FTEs that provide operational services to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of Accenture Legal; facilitate change; and control costs. All that we do in Legal Ops is linked to Legal’s Strategic Priorities with the aim of being the engine for Legal to be a high-performance Corporate Function. My areas of responsibility include Strategic Planning, Outcome Management, Financial Management, Outside Counsel, Legal Technology, Legal Knowledge, Legal Learning & Development and Internal Compliance. I also represent Accenture Legal Ops on various external forums such as CLOC and the Baker McKenzie Legal Ops Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Legal I was a Senior Principal in Accenture’s Strategy practice in London specialising in strategic, financial and regulatory consulting. Over my 18 years with the practice I led and/or operated a wide range of business consulting projects at Energy, Utilities, and IDO clients. Areas of consulting included operating model design / redesign, enterprise transformation, strategic planning, strategy formulation and translation into business planning, scenario analysis and business modelling. Prior to joining Accenture, I spent five years working for PA Consulting, the Financial Times and Datamonitor Group. During this time I was also involved in business consulting and analysis projects for a range of Utilities and Central Government clients.
In addition to my commercial consulting career, I’ve been extremely fortunate to take part in our charitable consulting programmes. For nearly two years I was the Programme Director for Movement to Work; and I have been on Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP) five times providing support to C-Suites in the IDO sector on Strategy and Change.
Outside of work I am married with two young children, keep reasonably fit, love travel and exotic cuisine.
David White
Director of Law Firm Management at Accenture
I have more than twenty five years of experience in supply management, the last fourteen in various roles at Accenture. Over the past five years, I have been the Accenture Legal Operations Director of Law Firm Management. In this role, I oversee all aspects of managing our outside counsel program globally. This includes a wide variety of activities such as engagement letters, invoicing and payments, rates, IS Security, conflicts and governance. One of the most significant areas of my role is to drive improvements in diversity of Outside Counsel and Legal Staffing Firms globally.
Before joining the Accenture Legal Corporate Function, I was the Global Category Directory for Professional Services in Accenture’s Operations practice. In this role, I supported a wide variety of clients in strategically sourcing and managing professional services suppliers such as law firms.
Prior to my career at Accenture, I worked at a global telecommunications equipment company in the role of Procurement Director responsible for all indirect procurement including Legal services.
