    Anna Golovsky
CLOC Regional Leader and Executive Manager, Legal Operations & Agility at IAG
Anna Golovsky is the Executive General Manager of Agility and Legal Operations at IAG demonstrating the acknowledgement on behalf of the business of the importance of the function of legal operations. Golovsky’s legal career first began after her qualification in 1995, and she went on to spend almost 20 years in private practice with global firms King & Wood Mallesons in Australia and Clifford Chance in London.

Having gained a large amount of experience related to commercial law practice in procurement, technology and outsourcing transactions, Golovsky moved in-house in August 2013 to a senior legal counsel role at AMP. In the subsequent five years, Golovsky was responsible for the procurement, outsourcing, privacy, intellectual property and real property procurement portfolios. In her current role, which still encompasses the maintenance of these responsibilities, Golovsky added the mandate of head of operations in order to deliver an end to end assessment of the processes undertaken by the team which are of low value and low complexity, and then make recommendations to key stakeholders around areas where and how efficiencies, process improvement and innovation can be realised for the legal and governance team. Further proving her passion and commitment to these innovative concepts, Golovsky is a member of the Australian chapter of CLOC (the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium) and hopes to grow the idea of legal operations further within the Australian in-house legal community.
