Mykel is a seasoned social justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, and change management professional with 15+ years of experience in the public and private sectors. Mykel has over 10 years’ experience working in the criminal justice field, as well as experience in mental health, homeless services, and public health. She is recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for leading teams and organizational development programs via strategic planning, goal setting, and coaching, as well as for translating strategic plans into concrete deliverables.

Mykel’s personal and professional mission is to create safe spaces for ongoing dialogue about social justice issues that are nonjudgmental and empathic. She believes that dialogue is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the context in which we exist and begin learning to peacefully coexist.

Wendy Berger has served as a Director of the Board since February 2015. Wendy brings decades of experience in strategic planning, execution, and exits for rapid growth start-ups. Ms. Berger is
CEO and Founder of WBS Equities, LLC, a real estate development firm she founded in 2004,
which specializes in ground up construction, renovations and sale lease back transactions of food manufacturing and food distribution facilities.
