  • About
Many opinions have been published about hydrogen and its role in the world as it relates to a net-zero economy. In this webinar we will walk you through what hydrogen is and how it is produced.

Politics have significant impact on hydrogen developments, so we will discuss the political tailwinds and the cost horizon.
Finally, we will show how hydrogen fits into the power generation space.

Don’t miss this installment of Cat Electric Power’s Quarterly Webinar Series!

Hi, we are looking to improve the environmental performance of some of our CAT C280-16 generator engines by injecting pure H2 and O2 into the intake streams. Does Caterpillar have any experience or done any testing for such applications? Are there any recommendations for implementing such changes e.g., materials selection, maintenance considerations?

Thanks Very insightful.... I would like to learn more about the components used to inject the hydrogen with diesel to genset and the ones used while on 100 % hydrogen.
Also interesting to drill down into producing electricity while reversing the electrolysis process.

I participated in your webinar about hydrogen, it's really impressive and knowledgeable. I am interested in learning more about the new technology of power-producing sources being a family of energy resources person. I want to participate & learn as well about energy transition with caterpillar.

Has Caterpillar ever considered "turquoise hydrogen"? Turquoise hydrogen is H2 produced from natural gas (CH4) by means of "methane pyrolysis". Methane pyrolysis splits the H2 and Carbon in CH4; and the lone Carbon atom becomes elemental (solid state of matter), while the three H2 atoms are freed for work in fuel cells and elsewhere.

Please share a CAT hat to me.

The sun is really scotching us here in Kenya.

Temperatures are unprecedented at 37 degrees centigrade.

I will appreciate in a big way.
