1. High Ohm process results
High Ohm processes is an important area in film capacitor manufacturing. Based on customers’ capacitor designs we developed, integrated and qualified components and processes for Leybold Optics CAP machines.

Results, based on a new Zinc oven and Aluminum evaporator modifications as well as on the process control, will be presented and discussed.

2. In-situ quality control and process data management
Machine and process data collection and their analysis play an important role in the Industry 4.0 roadmap. Sensor-captured data, processed by tailormade algorithms, improve the quality, traceability and reliability of film metallization. The BühlerInsights platform solution provides the necessary framework for data collection, -storage, -analyze and -safety.

The presentation gives insights into the Bühler Leybold Optics Industrial-Internet-of-Things (IIOT) solution.
