The session will focus on the major shifts in Perkins V to improving the performance for the nine special populations, redirecting Perkins funds in the July 1, 2022 budget and local application to reducing the performance disparities between special population students and non special population CTE students based on the results of the second CLNA, the expanded list of allowable costs under Perkins V, periods of performance as revised by the new UGG, allocability rules impacted by Covid, the federal funding going forward including ESSER and HEERF funds, revised U.S. Education Department policies on recording time and effort, new flexibilities on procurement, and how to best calculate administrative and indirect costs under Perkins.
