Dr. Sylvanus Jatto is the Medical and Wellness Consultant to Stanbic IBTC Holdings, a position he took up in 2016.

He coordinates and manages the Group’s Employee Health and Wellness Programme including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). He also designs the policies, processes and framework that drives the group’s employee health and wellness.

Dr. Jatto holds a MBBS degree, MBA degree and Post –graduate degree in Theology; certificates from S P Jain School of Global Management (International Workshop on Employee Medical Benefits Administration organized by Redbridge School of Healthcare Management) and Human Capital Partners (HCP) – Workshop on Strategic HR Management Programme (delivering business results).

He has about twenty-nine (29) years of experience garnered within the medical field, working with several hospitals as the Resident Medical officer in-charge and in Health Management Organizations (HMOs) namely Medexia Limited (HMO) where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager – Third Party Administration (TPA) and Quality Control. He was also responsible for managing the medical and wellness scheme for large corporate organizations like MTN, Total, Statoil, Addax Petroleum, Conocophillips, Nigerite and others.

He has managed and participated in various projects with resulting key accomplishments such as: successful management of acute and chronic ailment, annual health audit for client personnel to identify incidences of prevalent diseases among staff and as a means of promoting health, medical emergency evacuation, control and improvement of HMO managed health care delivery with resulting outcome of zero “negative” complaints from employees, successful development and deployment of annual healthy living campaign exercises and wellness initiatives. He successfully designed and deployed Action plan for threatening pandemics such as Avian and Ebola Virus disease for multinationals.
