The company was born out of the lack of sustainable and natural options and supports local craftsmen, artisans and ethical factories. The collection went on to be named a finalist as part of Fast Company’s 2018 Innovation by Design Awards. In 2018, Reed released a collection of engagement rings, all made from 18 karat gold recycled from tech and cultivated diamonds grown in California and ethically mined sapphires. This past Spring Reed expanded BaYou With Love into clothing, creating an activewear set and loungewear line. Everything is designed with the idea of versatility in mind, as Reed believes that versatility is key to sustainability.
